Bear Diversified leverages key strategic partnerships to enhance both its technology and global reach. Most notably, it has partnered with Impression Technologies (ITL), bringing ITL’s patented Hot Form Quench (HFQ®) technology to North America. This innovative process enables the hot forming of high-strength aluminum for complex geometries, offering Bear’s customers advantages in weight saving, increased strength, and cost reduction for components used in automotive and aerospace applications. Additionally, Bear’s subsidiary, Northern Stamping, Inc. (NSI), maintains a long-standing strategic partnership with CFA Tools Co., Ltd. in Ningbo, China, which serves as a crucial component of Bear’s global footprint by supplying stamped components and welded assemblies.
ITL was formed to commercialize the HFQ® technology developed by Imperial College London. Imperial College is renowned as one of the world’s premier engineering schools. ITL has implemented the HFQ® technology with UK-based automotive OEMs and is developing partnerships with leading manufacturers globally to bring HFQ® to North America, Europe and Asia.
CFA Tools began supplying stamped components and complete welded assemblies to NSI in 2006 and is ISO 9001 Certified.
CFA Tools provides a full line of towing products and several custom assemblies for the automotive industry. Founded by Mr. Hongjun (Homer) Song, CFA Tools started as a trading company before starting production of automotive products in 2000.
